Alexander Krause is an urban anthropologist, filmmaker, and photographer based in Madrid, Spain. His work sits at the intersection of emerging media, visual storytelling, and social science, driven by a primary interest in gentrification, social justice, the environment, and the anthropocene. Currently studying a PhD at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, his recent projects include Sugar Water, a feature documentary on Florida's ecological degradation and Breaking Glass, a documentary on queer and FLINTA glass artists in NYC.
