Alexander Krause is an anthropologist, filmmaker, and photographer based in Madrid, Spain. His work sits at the intersection of investigative journalism, visual storytelling, and social science, driven by primary interests in gentrification, urbanity, ecology, and the anthropocene. Currently studying a PhD at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, his recent projects include Sugar Water, a feature documentary on Florida's ecological degradation and Breaking Glass, a documentary featuring women and queer glass artists in New York.
